Terms and Conditions

Sofas ‘n’ Beds is owned and operated by Sofas n Beds LTD (‘Sofas ‘n’ Beds’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’).

These terms relate to orders made in online or by phone.

The contract made by you with us incorporates these terms and conditions, which shall prevail over any and all terms and conditions proposed by you.

You should not proceed with your order until you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.


1.1 We are continuously developing products and reserve the right to amend the specifications of any goods or products without prior notice in relation to future sales.

1.2 If buying the same products at different times we cannot guarantee they will match due to variations between batches. This includes exact colour match and exact measurements.

1.3 Every effort is made to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on our website and in other promotional materials. We cannot guarantee however the complete accuracy of the pictures or photographs that are shown. Many conditions such as your monitor or screen settings and batching can affect the colouring of items in a picture.


2.1 We always try to be as accurate as possible, however measurements specified by us are always approximate. All our products are handmade and so there may be a slight difference on some products (maximum 5cm).


3.1 All prices include VAT, where appropriate, at the prevailing rate and are subject to any promotional offer or discount.

3.2 The prices displayed on the website are for online purchases and promotions only and are not transferable to sales through any other means.

3.3 We will not be bound to honour any prices, where we have indicated to you subsequently that the prices displayed have been displayed in error. In these cases, a full refund will be offered.


4.1 We have the right to terminate any promotional offers or codes at any point

4.2 All promotion Offers and Codes do not apply to any finance-paid products i.e You complete your purchase with an option of buying on finance rather than completing your payment online in full or in cash payment


5.1 You can pay by cash, finance, PayPal, bank transfer or debit/credit card at the time of order.

5.2 Order lead times will begin once full payment has been made (unless paying via Finance).

5.3 The price of any product is the price in place at the date and time of your order. The price may increase or decrease at a later date; this will not affect your order. At the time of order, your payment will secure the current price of the sofa you order only.

5.4 We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you and we reserve the right to cancel and refund any order, at any time.

5.5 We offer monthly payment plans for up to12 months (APR 0.00%), this is subject to a credit check, to pay via finance, select “Pay with Dividebuy” when checking out.

5.6 We reserve the right to discontinue sofas from time to time due to trends, material acquisition & manufacturing improvements. We cannot offer refunds on any prior payments made to us; all payments can be transferred to an alternative sofa free of charge.

5.7 We reserve the right to not accept payment from debit/ credit cards which are not registered to the given delivery address. This is due to our tight fraud rules on our payment system which allows for 3D secure safe transactions.


6.1 We are only able to deliver orders to you if you have a delivery address on the UK mainland. This excludes some remote areas; please check our delivery page before ordering.

6.2 You will be informed of the likely approximate length of time until delivery at the point of order. Once your order is confirmed as available for delivery, we will contact you to agree on definite arrangements for the date of delivery. Where possible we will deliver on the first available van in your area as we are unable to store your furniture. Every effort is made to see that the approximate delivery date is accurate, but on rare occasions, the manufacture of your furniture may be delayed through circumstances beyond our control. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed.

6.2(i) Once a delivery date has been confirmed, cancellation within 48 hours of the delivery date will incur a re-delivery charge.

6.3 We will remove all packaging from the goods and allow you to examine them to ensure that there are no defects. This includes scratches, tears, rips or scuffs. We will assemble the goods in a room of your choice. Please note our delivery team will not take away any packaging. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods immediately upon delivery and ensure that the goods are delivered in perfect condition. No claim for damage at all can be entertained once the delivery team has left the delivery address unless it is signed for as damaged delivery.

6.4 We cannot accept any liability for any damage caused to customers’ property during delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there is clear access for the delivery team to enter, If our delivery team considers that access is unsafe, then we will not deliver the goods.

6.5 In the event that you may choose to have your goods delivered to your own third-party carrier, we will not accept any responsibility or liability for any damage to your goods once they are out of our control. Any forwarding delivery is at your own risk.

6.6 We will only deliver to the ground floor. If the delivery is required to be carried to any higher floors of the house or building our couriers may ask for an extra fee whilst on site. If delivery is required to higher floors and there is no lift or the lift is not big enough to take the suite, we will deliver to the ground floor only and ask that you get help in taking the products upstairs.

6.6(i) In the event, access to your home is not easy or may cause damage to the furniture the delivery team will refuse delivery inside your home and may offer delivery outside your property.

6.7 We cannot accept liability if your sofa does not fit into your house, it is the responsibility of the customer to measure the doors, hallways and rooms to ensure the sofa fits. If the worst happens and it really won’t fit in, we will do our utmost to find a suitable solution.

6.8 If the goods are found to be either damaged or defective in any way at the time of delivery we will organise a replacement or repair immediately depending on the situation. We cannot leave any products in the customer’s possession without full payment.

6.9 Should you not be available at the time of attempted delivery there will be a redelivery charge of £50. These also apply if we are unable to deliver the goods due to there being no safe means of access to the place of delivery. 


7.1 If you’re not 100% happy with your new sofa, you can return it to us. The item must be in its original packaging and in unused condition. You must contact us by email at to arrange your return within 14 days of receiving your goods. A courier return charge will be expected to pay from you, the customer. 

7.2 Any returns that have not been emailed within 14 days of receiving will be refused. 

7.3 After the item has been inspected, a full refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving your arranged return. 


7.1B All of our beds and mattresses are non-refundable.

7.2B In the event that a bed or mattress is faulty, we would either replace the bed or mattress or send a replacement part that is faulty. This warranty will only cover the manufactures fault.

7.3B All faults will need to be emailed to with a full explanation and photos illustrating the faults. Failure to provide a clear descriptions or pictures of the fault will not be entertained.


8.1 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a customer has an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund. This right is limited to 30 days from the date the customer took ownership of the goods. If an item is faulty and needs to be returned, the customer does not need to pay postage costs for the return of the faulty item.

8.2 All our products come with a 1-year manufacturer’s guarantee. The guarantee starts from the date of delivery and offers cover against manufacturing defects on the structure of the frame and frame springs or any defects which may arise, under normal use, through faulty factory workmanship, including sofa bed and recliner mechanisms. No claims for faulty items will be entertained after the twelve months.

8.3 Under the Consumer rights act 2015, if you discover a manufacturing fault within the first six months, we will repair the item. If the item is un-repairable we will organise a replacement.

8.4 Sofa ‘n’ Beds reserves the right to carry out an inspection of the goods in the confinements of your own home using an independent 3rd party company to assert where the fault is situated.  

8.5 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you discover a manufacturing fault after the first six months, it is your responsibility to prove to us that the item is faulty. If you can provide evidence that the item is faulty, we will repair the item. If the item is un-repairable, we will organise a replacement.


9.1 Every effort is made to ensure the complete accuracy of our website, however, some prices/details contained on the website may change from time to time and it is possible that errors will occur. We will use our best endeavours to rectify any errors, as swiftly as possible but we cannot be responsible for any losses incurred.

9.2 Our website is owned and operated by Sofas n Beds LTD Trading as Sofas ‘n’ Beds (‘Sofas ‘n’ Beds,’ ‘we’ or ‘us’ ‘our’), whose registered number is 129114936.

9.3 Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of our website is done at your own discretion and risk and with the understanding that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your own computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such material.


10.1 By using this website, you will be deemed to consent to our use of any personal data we collect from you, including your name, address and telephone number, for the purposes of negotiating, entering into and administering a contract and maintaining your account.


11.1 We control and operate our website from our offices within England. Accordingly the laws of England and Wales govern claims relating to them, including the use of our website and the materials contained therein. If you choose to access our website from outside England and Wales you do so on your own initiative and you hereby agree that in the event of a dispute between us and you that the laws of England and Wales apply at all times.
